The Hershey Education Foundation will hold a fundraiser Saturday night to raise money for scholarships.

The foundation recently awarded five scholarships for $500 each, and wants to hand out five $1,000 scholarships next time, chairwoman Pat Pinion said.

The foundation will offer wine and hors d'oeuvres at a gathering from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hershey Legion Hall. Tickets are $30.

The foundation is independent of Hershey schools and funds go toward academic scholarships and enhancing education in the schools, organizers said.

Wines will be provided by Mac's Creek of Lexington, Three Brothers of Farnam and James Arthur of Raymond. Hors d'oeuvres will be from Butch's Steakhouse, Gary's Super Foods, Knoll's Bed and Breakfast and members of the foundation.
