He was ordered to write letters of apology to all the victims, to pay restitution along with a co-defendant. Belsky will pay 30 percent of his paychecks until the restitution is paid.

He was placed on probation for two years, with a 90-day jail sentence if he fails to complete probation successfully.

Belsky was the leader of a shooting spree in Augus, when windows approximately 200 vehicles and buildings were shot with BB guns. S

everal windows of a car at the mall were bashed with a blunt object and both rear tires were slashed.

Police found Belsky driving a minivan with three juvenile passengers, one of them a girl. According to court records, Belsky and the passengers told officers that they had been driving around shooting windows.

Police said they found two rifle style BB guns and a pistol style BB gun in the van. One of the juveniles told officers that one rifle had been reloaded with more than 300 BBs during the spree.

Two of the juveniles in the van were under age 15 and found to not be directly involved in the shooting. They were cited for curfew violation and released. Damage reports rolled in to police and added up upwards of $62,000 in damage.

Belsky was initially charged with 199 counts of criminal mischief. The counts were later consolidated.
