Investigators seek info in boy's drowning Tell North Platte what you think

As part of a criminal investigation regarding the near-drowning death of Landon Schroeder on May 6, the Lincoln County Sheriff is looking for information from boaters who may have been in the area.

Investigators would like to talk to anyone who was on the larger of two lakes in kayaks or small boats from noon to 6:30 p.m. on that afternoon.

The lakes/ponds are located east of the Newberry/US Highway 30 overpass over the railroad tracks and north of the tracks.

Anyone who has any information is urged to call the sheriff’s office at 308-535-9519 or 308-535-9599.
