Bernadette Jones, 31, of Lexington, was arraigned Monday for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Her preliminary hearing is set for May 16.

Defense attorney Stephen Potter asked for a lower bond and Lincoln County Judge Michael Piccolo reduced it from $100,000 to $25,000.

Jones was stopped Saturday by the Nebraska State Patrol on I-80 just east of the Hershey interchange for driving with no license plates.

A search turned up a little more than an ounce of marijuana, according to a Nebraska State Patrol report.

Also Michael Mostek, 24, of Lincoln was arraigned on a charge of possession of amphetamine. Mostek’s bond is set at $100,000. He asked for a public defender.

Mostek was pulled over by the Nebraska State Patrol at around 12:48 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Francis and Jeffers in North Platte for a traffic violation.

When the trooper searched him, he found Mostek had amphetamine, the State Patrol reported.
