Mail: Walkers support Women’s Resource CenterTell North Platte what you think

A huge thank you to all those who supported the Women’s Resource Center’s 12th annual Walk for Life. A total of five Walks were recently held in Hershey, North Platte, Dunning, Stapleton, and Arnold, with over 230 people walking.

The goal of the Walk was to help provide for the financial needs of the WRC in North Platte. The WRC receives no local, state, or government funding and is completely dependent on businesses, churches and individuals in our community to supply our annual operating needs.

The Women's Resource Center exists to assist women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance.

Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.

The 2013 Walk for Life fundraising goal was $40,000. So far, more than $30,000 has been raised, with additional pledges of support still coming in.

We praise God for His faithful provision and thank you for financially supporting the WRC and the clients we serve.

For more information on the Women’s Resource Center or to still make a donation, visit our website at www.pregnancynorthplatte.com or call (308)534-1440.

Thanks to all for taking a stand for LIFE!
