Deadline extended for Paws-itive Partners scholarshipTell North Platte what you think

The deadline for applying for the PAWS-itive Partnersí PAWS-Up Scholarship has been extended to May 10.

The scholarship can be used in any accredited school, whether a university, trade school or specialized diploma or certificate program. The amount is $250 each semester.

Any Lincoln County resident, whether a graduating senior or a non-traditional student can apply if enrolled in an institution of higher learning, or preparing for a career in any field of animal care, which may include veterinarian, veterinary technician, groomer, animal trainer, animal control officer, wildlife conservation, zookeeper, kennel owner/worker, etc.

Payment will be made to the recipientís school at mid-term of the semester if the recipient has maintained a 2.5 grade-point average the first part of the semester.

To apply, send an e-mail to yourlifenotes@gmail.com for an application form. Mail completed applications to Paws-itive Partners, P.O. Box 1145, North Platte, NE 69103.

Applications must be postmarked by May 10.
