NebraskaLand National Bank, the North Platte Volunteer Fire Department and Huskeradio are teaming up for the eighth annual walk.

The walk will begin at 11:30 a.m. on April 19 at NebraskaLand National Bank’s downtown bank.

All proceeds benefit the Rape and Domestic Abuse Program.

The public is encouraged to form a team of friends or co-workers, challenge another organization to form a team, or nominate a guy to walk a mile in women’s shoes, organizers say.

All participants are asked to raise at least $100 and will receive a free event tee-shirt. The event will conclude with a free-will donation tailgate.

Registration packets are available at any NebraskaLand National Bank location.
