A North Platte man was slightly injured in a collision Tuesday afternoon near Lincoln Elementary School.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, Kent Hild of North Platte, 63, pulled south from the stop sign at Vine and Ninth in his pickup.

Hild hit Joshua Bodenus, 26, who was going east on Ninth on his motorcycle. Hildís pickup hit the rear of the motorcycle.

Bodenus, who was wearing a helmet, received visible but not disabling injuries to his arm, police said.
