St. Patrick’s High School’s team won the championship of the Southern Platte Valley Association Quiz Bowl Tuesday.

Teams from Sutherland, Chase County, Hershey, Perkins County and St. Pat’s demonstrated their academic knowledge under the pressure of a time clock and competition.

Teams played a round robin, with each team playing each opponent.

North Platte St. Pat’s finished first with a 4-0 record. Sutherland was second with a record of 3-1; and Hershey, Perkins County and Chase County finished at 1-3.
