The Judicial Nominating Commission for the County Court in the 11th Judicial District has forwarded the names of nominees to Gov. Dave Heineman to replace Judge Carlton Clark, who is retiring.

The nominees for count judge are: Mark R. McKeone of Cozad; Gary G. Peterson of Broken Bow; Jeffrey M. Wightman of Lexington; and Todd D. Wilson of Elwood.

The 11th Judicial District includes Lincoln County and consists of Arthur, Chase, Dawson, Dundy, Frontier, Furnas, Gosper, Hayes, Hitchcock, Hooker, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Perkins, Red Willow and Thomas counties.
