Deanna Fischer, 39, of Hershey was convicted March 12 of one charge of sexual assault and one charge of child abuse in Lincoln County Court. The charges were orginally felonies, but were reduced to misdemeanors in a plea deal with the Lincoln County Attorney’s Office.
County Judge Michael Piccolo set sentencing for June 6.
Fischer also has two other separate felony cases pending in district court.
In one case, she faces three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and one count of the same charge in the other case.
Fischer was first charged in April 2011 for other alleged crimes that occurred more than eight years ago and she was arrested again in June.
Investigators first said that Fischer was complicit in and took photographs of sexual assaults of children perpetrated by her husband Daniel in their home.
Daniel Fischer was charged with nine counts of sexual assault of a child. He was supposed to be arrested again at the same time as his wife on additional sexual assault of a child charges but could not be found at that time. His body was found later and it was determined he had taken his own life.
Since that time, investigators have charged Fischer with more counts of abuse.
