The Sandhills Symphony Orchestra will present A Touch O' Green at the Performing Arts Center at the North Platte High School at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The concert celebrates Irish music, composers and music inspired in some way by the color green.

There is no charge to attend but donations are welcome.

The Sandhills Symphony Orchestra have been practicing since Feb. 3 for the concert. The symphony is a non-profit orchestra that exists to promote symphonic orchestral music in south-central Nebraska.

Musicians are volunteers who give time and talents so that others may enjoy great live music.

For more than 50 years, the orchestra has presented concerts free-of-charge in central, and relied on the donations of generous patrons to make the concerts possible.

The symphony is a non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible. Checks can be sent to: Sandhills Symphony, P.O. Box 1972, North Platte, NE 69103.
