Featured fighter Tony Johnson suffered a knee injury that has forced him out of the Main Event at Midwest Championship Fighting 6 "St. Patty's Beatdown" at the D&N Event Center Saturday, March 16.

Johnson's replacement, Isidro "Chilo" Gonzalez, is a Bellator Veteran who has fought the "Who's Who" of MMA, organizer Kelly Wiseman said.

Gonzalez has faced Carlos Condit, Nick Ring, Trevor Prangley, Court McGee and Rory Singer, to name a few.

Wiseman said if Peak can beat Gonzalez he will definitely get the attention of the "big" MMA events.

Although hobbled, Johnson will make the trip from California to watch the fight with anticipation, as he will face the winner of the bout for the MCF Pro Welterweight Title at MCF 8 Saturday, September 28, Wiseman said.
