A Nebraska State Trooper found more than 10 pounds of pot Friday morning inside a sport utility vehicle that slid off Interstate 80 between Paxton and Sutherland.
Andrew and Charles Morris, brothers, are now in the Lincoln County Jail, charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver.
The Chevy Tahoe spun 360 degrees on the slick road and went into the ditch around 9 a.m., according to Nebraska State Trooper Jeremiah Johnson. They continued to drive east in the ditch for five miles before they had to call for help.
When Johnson arrived, he said he smelled a strong odor of marijuana. After a tow truck pulled the SUV out, Johnson searched and found 10.6 pounds of pot in boxes in the cargo area.
Andrew and Charles were taken to the Lincoln County Jail, charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver.
Andrew Morris, 27, is from Denver, and Charles, 29, is from Chicago, Johnson said.
