Freely based upon stories from Genesis, the musical Children of Eden is a heartfelt examination of the centuries-old conflict between children and parents. The North Platte High School Music Department will present Stephen Schwartz and John Caird’s musical at 7:30 p.m. on March 8-9 and March 10 at 2 p.m. in the NPHS Performing Arts Center. The story is about the struggle of choosing right over wrong and the struggle of listening to and following your heart. And it is the ultimate story of faith, forgiveness and leaving our world a better place for our future generations. Children of Eden includes a cast of 60 and is directed by Leah Purdy. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and are available at Kittle’s Music, Westfield Pharmacy, Riddle’s Jewelry, DaBuzz Coffee House and the NPHS Activities Office.
