Police are searching for a man thought to be armed and dangerous after a 20-year-old woman was allegedly robbed at gunpoint Monday night. At around 10:30 p.m., police went to Kings Court Trailer Park in the 2400 block of W. Ninth to investigate a report of an armed robbery. The woman, Stephanie Vencill, said Denson and LeBlanc were allowed to come in, and after they used the bathroom, LeBlanc brandished a handgun and demanded money. They got a little cash and a cell phone, Police Information Officer Rodney Brown said. Officers were told the suspects, Jeffery Denson, 21, and Sylvester LeBlanc III, 19, fled in a dark blue, Chrysler 300 with dealer plates. Police caught up with Denson and a male passenger a little later in the Chrysler near the 1200 block of E. Fourth, but they are still looking for LeBlanc, who is thought to be armed and dangerous. The firearm used during the robbery has not been recovered, Brown said. LeBlanc is black, approximately 6-feet tall, weighs 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has similar gang tattoos on the inside of both forearms displaying GD (right) and 74 (left), Brown said. Police encourage the public to call the non-emergency number, 308-535-6789, with information as to the suspect’s whereabouts. Denson was arrested and charged with robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony and terroristic threats. He was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center. It was Denson's second set of charges in four days. He was charged for resisting arrest, obstruction and trespassing Friday night after police found him in a pickup with three others, drugs and a 9 mm handgun parked in a Department of Roads yard. Denson was released from jail Monday on a personal recognizance bond. In court Tuesday, Deputy County Attorney Austen Leighty asked Judge Michael Piccolo for $100,000 bond. "That's the low end of what I really want to ask for," Leighty said. Piccolo set bond at $100,000.
