Around 2:20 p.m., police went to a home in the 2300 block of W. Fourth on a report that a man had left the house upset, carrying a firearm, Police Information Officer Rodney Brown said.

The responding officer was told that Foust, 23, made statements that jeapordized his own safety before he left the house on foot, carrying a 12-gauge shotgun.

Brown said the firearm was later found in a vehicle parked at the house.

Police found Foust in the 300 block of N. Emory, and charged him with possession of a firearm by a felon, a class 1 felony. He was arrested and his bond was set at $100,000.

Foust was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in August 2006, when Foust was 16, according to county records.

Good point, 1cool! Maybe the gun was in the car all along and the witness was just assuming he took it?

The witness could've said Foust had breasts. Doesn't make it so. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Good question...seems odd... but a witness said he left the house carrying the shotgun.

Having trouble following this, if he was arrested on N Emory and the shotgun was in a truck at the house, how is he in possession of it
