Irish gather items for Indian RezTell North Platte what you think

Some senior St. Patrick's Catholic school students are gathering donations for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, as part of a mission trip a group of students will take.

The High School Student Council is collecting items to take on the trip. Donation boxes are at both St. Patrickís and Holy Spirit Churches, and items can also be brought to St. Patís High School (500 S. Silber).

Suggested donations include work gloves, baby supplies, shampoo & conditioner, soap and body wash (especially Dove brand for use by cancer patients), hypoallergenic lotion, winter apparel, bedding (twin sheets, blankets, pillows), hair brushes/combs, shoes, toothbrushes & paste, washcloths & towels, reading glasses, school supplies, crafting supplies.

Any donations are greatly appreciated, Catholic schools spokeswoman Wendy Dodson said.
