Novelist C. M. Wendelboe will be the presenter at the Friends of the Library Brown Bag Luncheon program at noon Friday, Feb. 8 at the North Platte Public Library.

At this free program, Wendelboe will discuss two novels -- Death Along the Spirit Road and Death Where the Bad Rocks Live.

The novels are part of Wendelboe's Spirit Road mystery series. He lives in Gillette, Wyo. after a 38-year law enforcement career that began in the 1970s when he worked in South Dakota towns bordering three Indian reservations.

Wendelboe's experiences with the Lakota nation greatly influenced his writing.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch. Coffee and water will be provided. Seats are limited to 70 so please call the library at 535-8036 to reserve a seat.
