Unknown persons removed 85 large, round bales of hay from property just south of Maxwell, north of the river on the west side of Link 56A, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's office.

The heavy bales were valued at more than $15,000 and at least three semi-loads would have been required to remove the bales from the field where they were stacked.

If you have information about the theft, you can leave an anonymous tip and be eligible for a cash reward.
