The North Platte Community College Lady Knights (12-8) fell Saturday afternoon on the road to the Doane Lady Tiger jayvees by five points, 57-52. The Lady Knights were playing their third game in four days, and could never get into an offensive or defensive rhythm. Three players scored in double figures for North Platte -- Courtney Widick led the with 14 points, with Lacey Houston and Paige Hasty both chipping in 11 points. The Lady Knights will play on the road for the seventh straight game since the Christmas break on Tuesday, as they make the short trip to face the McCook Community College Indians (16-4) at 5:30 p.m. North Platte will return home for their first home game of the second semester on Thursday Jan. 31, facing the Eastern Wyoming Lancers (10-7) at 5:30 p.m.
