Girls BB: Wallace defeats Hayes CenterTell North Platte what you think

The Wallace Lady Wildcats steadily pulled away from Hayes Center Thursday on the way to 66-50 win in the third round of the RPAC tournament.

Wallace led 15-10 at the end of the first quarter and 33-26 at halftime.

"I didn’t think we came out focused and ready to play," the Hayes Center coach said. "I thought Wallace did a nice job of causing us problems on the offensive end of the floor, and we had more problems breaking their press than we should have at this point in the year."

Wallace’s Chelsea Sowle scored 30 points and Christina Daniels contributed 24 points.

For Hayes Center, Colby Cox and Sarah Cox each scored 12 points. Kasey Clifford chipped in 8.

Wallace: 15-18-13-20 - 66
