Hershey and North Platte St. Pat’s will meet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night for the championship of the South Platte Valley Association tournament. Hershey overpowered Chase County Friday, 47-16 to advance to the finals. The Irish earned a win over Sutherland, 52-46, to advance. Hershey (11-3) will face North Platte St. Pat’s (14-1) in the finals. Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. Hershey and St. Pat’s have met before this season. The Irish earned a hard fought 54-47 win on Dec. 8. Chase County, 4-13, and Sutherland will play for third place at 4:30 p.m.
Irish boys hard to stop On the boys side, St. Pat’s (12-2) will play Chase County (6-9) in the finals. Tip off is at 6 p.m.
