The North Platte Community College Lady Knights (10-7) women’s basketball team fell Friday 94-46 at the Northeast Lady Hawks in Norfolk. The win improves the Lady Hawks to 17-2 on the season. Jordan Dickerson contributed 15 points for the Lady Knights in the losing effort. The Lady Hawks had 5 players in double figures and were led by Emily Gamble’s 15 points. Lady Knights Coach Thurin pointed to his team’s 27 turnovers compared to the Lady Hawks six turnovers and 19 steals as the difference in the game. The Lady Knights remain on the road Wednesday Jan. 23 as they travel to Lakewood, Colo. to take on Colorado Christian JV at 5 p.m. CST, a game rescheduled from Jan. 12. The Lady Knights next home game is Jan. 31 as they face the Eastern Wyoming Lady Lancers at 5:30 p.m.
