The Hershey girls basketball team scored 20 points in the second quarter Saturday on the way to handing Broken Bow a 51-27 loss. Hershey (11-3) led by only two at the end of the first quarter, but took the upper hand for good in the second period. And coming off a 31-20 halftime lead, the Lady Panthers defense cracked down on the Indians, holding Broken Bow (1-12) to only two points in the third quarter and seven points in the second half. Daynlee Miller scored 27 for Hershey, including three baskets from three-point territory. Halie Jones led Broken Bow’s offense with eight points.
