Landowners with acres to enhance for wildlife can consider the WILD Nebraska program.

The program provides attractive cost-sharing on improvements such as grass seedings and/or shrub plantings. Other types of enhancements are also available, said Bill Carhart of the Twin Platte Natural Resources District.

Hunting access is not required on enrolled acres.

The development of WILD Nebraska is an effort to consolidate many components of existing programs.
