The North Platte High School boys' and girls' swimming teams swam at a double dual in Grand Island on Thursday The NPHS boys beat McCook 61-28 and lost 60-34 to Grand Island. The only two North Platte winners came from the boys. Zac Burns won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:20.03. The 400 freestyle relay of Zach Saner, Caleb Cox, Erik Davis and Matthew Walsh was also victorious. The North Platte girls lost to both Grand Island and McCook. Against GI, the score was 69-23 and against McCook it was 50-37.
