Once again, our wonderful community came together to make Donna’s Community Christmas Dinner a success. More than 630 people were served a holiday meal, complete with turkey, ham, and all the trimmings.

All we were missing was Donna Girty Cross herself!

So many from the community provided food and financial donations, as well as volunteer help to prepare and serve the meal.

We especially want to thank The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Posse, Dr. Sjeklocha, McCully Trucking, Old Home Bakery, Parkview Community Church of the Nazarene, Perkins Restaurant, Lincoln Highway Diner, NebraskaLand National Bank, Rosenberg Insurance, Fitzpatrick Ear, Nose, & Throat, and Union Pacific Railroad.

Thank you to Ray Mullen and the Flatrock Irregulars who provided musical entertainment throughout the afternoon.

This year we were blessed with a new addition, the “Shout to the Lord” preschool group, led by JoLynn Julius. And of course, we want to thank Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus for visiting with all the children.

We are truly blessed to live in a community with such a generous heart. Thank you again to all who helped in any way. God bless each of you!
