North Platte Community College will host the Knights Mid-Winter Classic basketball tournament on Feb. 10 for boys and girls in grades 5-8. The tournament will be held in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on the south campus of the college. Each division will have a maximum of eight teams and each team will be guaranteed three games. Games will consist of two 16-minute halves. The clock will stop in the final two minutes of each half. The clock will also stop for timeouts and injuries. Entry fee is $90 per team. The registration deadline is Jan. 25. A $10 late fee will be added to registrations after Jan. 25. Entry forms may be obtained at The Sports Shoppe at 1320 S. Cottonwood in North Platte.
