Mission Life, Inc. is a nonprofit that provides guardian and payee services for intellectually challenged, who may be diagnosed with a developmental disability; a mental illness or who are aged in the local area.

Mission Life Inc would like to thank the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation for the belief in our project once again. We were awarded a grant for $886 to purchase computer generated checks to use in Quick Books for most of the people for whom we are guardians.

Recently, a new state law changed the accounting procedures for wards and guardians. Now, each ward has to have their own checking account and most did not have the extra money to buy the checks.

Thirty people benefited from this grant provided by Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation and we want to send our heartfelt thank you to them for believing in our “mission” to help us serve those in need. Our community needs to recognize the importance of the huge role of Mid NE Community Foundation and we are very grateful for the support we’ve received from them.
