• First Baptist Church (100 McDonald Rd.) – 19th Annual Robert M. Rouch Memorial Living Christmas Tree. Performance begins at 7 p.m.


Friday, Dec. 7

• Public Library (120 W. Fourth) – Dickens Tea with classic holiday dining - soup, bread, scones, chocolates, dessert and cookies. Noon; again at 5:30 p.m. Tickets $20. Benefit for library.

• Harvest Christian Fellowship (2607 US-30 W.) – Donna’s Community Christmas Dinner. 2-6 p.m. Free meal. Live music all day. Santa at 5 p.m. Everyone invited.

• A to Z Books (507 N. Jeffers) – Open Mic Nite. Established performers and newcomers. 7-10:30 p.m. Free-will donation. Refreshments provided or bring your own.

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.


Saturday, Dec. 8

• First Christian Church (Third and Vine) – Christmas cookies, bread and candy for sale. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

• Public Library (120 W. Fourth) – Dickens Tea - soup, bread, scones, chocolates, dessert and cookies. Noon. Tickets $20. Fundraiser for library.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Erin Chrisman and Blue Collar. 9 p.m. Cover charge.


Sunday, Dec. 9

• Rec Center (1300 McDonald Rd.) – Nick of Time Craft Show. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

• North Platte High School – Live music by Job, Peter and Chuck and the North Platte High School Blue & Gold Singers. 2 p.m. $10 adults, $5 students. Fundraiser for the United Way.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) - Live music by Ray Mullen, 7-9:30 p.m. Free will donation.


Monday, Dec. 10

• Neville Center (301 E. Fifth) – Renowned pianist Lorie Line in concert with her grand piano and her band featuring different musical arrangements, variety, and costumes to share the Christmas message. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $50.


Wednesday, Dec. 12

• Pop Corner (1847 W. A) – Live piano and song by Shermie. 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – adult dance lessons ranging from Country, Latin, Ballroom, and Swing. 7-9 p.m. $3 per person.

• North Platte Senior Center (900 E. Tenth) – Ray Mullen plays for a dance. 7-9:30 p.m. $3.


Friday, Dec. 14

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.

• Da Buzz coffee shop (1208 West A St.) - Live Christmas music concert from the Hatchbacks jazz quartet, 7-9 p.m. $5 cover.


Saturday, Dec. 15

• Cody Park - Children's Christmas parade, 1 p.m. Christmas movie, after dark. No charge.

• Espresso Shoppe (419 N. Dewey) – Downtown storytelling, cookie and ornament decorating. 1-3 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Sweetwater. 9 p.m. Cover charge.


Wednesday, Dec. 19

• Children’s Museum (314 N. Jeffers) – Santa visits. Bring camera to have picture taken with him. 10:30 a.m. Members free, non-members $4.

• Pop Corner (1847 W. A) – Live piano and song by Shermie. 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – adult dance lessons ranging from Country, Latin, Ballroom, and Swing. 7-9 p.m. $3 per person.

• North Platte Senior Center (900 E. Tenth) – the Golden Classics, a four-piece combo, plays a dance. 7-10 p.m. $3.

Sunday, Dec. 23

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) - Live music by Ray Mullen, 7-9:30 p.m. Free will donation.
