I just want to give you an update on Sophie, our Wheaten that went missing during July. We have had her for the past five months and been working on making her feel loved and part of the family, doing everything possible to achieve this. Unfortunately, she fell ill two weeks ago. After a surgery and two trips to Colorado State University, we learned that she has a form of heart cancer. We are trying a holistic approach to treating her hoping to get some more time with her, or a possible cure (highly unlikely). She has had fluid drained from her heart on two occasions. We don't know how much time we will have with her; all we know is that we are absolutely heart broken and devastated. I just wanted you know since you helped us with finding her this summer. We are forever grateful for your help.
