Benefit concert set for United WayTell North Platte what you think

Job, Peter and Chuck along with the North Platte High School Blue and Gold Singers will present a concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 9 at the high school to benefit the Mid-Plains United Way and the 11 community agencies they serve.

The blue and gold singers are directed by Leah Purdy.

Job, Peter and Chuck have been named five times by the North Platte Telegraph as North Platte's favorite band. Coincidentally, Job is the Telegraph editor and Peter is the publisher.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students are on sale and available at the First National Bank-North Platte (all locations), Great Western Bank, Kittle’s Music, Nebraskaland National Bank (all locations), North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce & Development Corporation, the North Platte Telegraph and Sandhills State Bank of North Platte.

The concert is sponsored in part by the Telegraph, KNOP News 2, the North Platte Community College where Chuck works, MIX 97/ESPN and Rock 100/Wild Country.
