The students of North Platte Community College music instructor Elizabeth Peters will present a vocal recital at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the south college campus. North Platte Community College students and private students from North Platte High School will perform, accompanied by Donna Pucket. There will be a variety of solo performances including arias, art songs, and musical theater selections. The concert will conclude with guest artist Wayd Odle performing his original composition of “Memories of Christmas.” Students from NPCC include Victoria Daly, Ellen Duggan-Bailey, Erik Geilenkirchen, Dana Gibson, Benjamin Hill, Amariah Hodgen, Hannah Hokanson, Sonie Kuhlman, Rascal Martinez, Jacob McNeel, Stacia Nutter, Andrea Rivera, Florence Todd, Kayla Turner and Meshka Waya. North Platte High School students include Maggie Bianco, Dalton Carlson, Kathleen Cullinan, Bailey Lehmkuhler and Michael Odle. The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will be held in the fireplace area following the recital.
