The Nebraska Wheat Board will hold its next meeting Nov. 27 at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis. The meeting will be held on the campus at 404 E 7th St. It begins at 8 a.m. and adjourns at 3 p.m. The meeting will include reports from NWB board members, contractor reports, discussion on recently received contract proposals and upcoming travel and calendar events. The public is welcome to attend any open portion of the meeting. Interested individuals may contact the NWB office at wheat.board@nebraska.gov for a copy of the agenda or for more information. The Nebraska Wheat Board administers the check-off of 0.4 percent of net value of wheat marketed in Nebraska at the point of first sale. The board invests the funds in programs of international and domestic market development and improvement, policy development, research, promotion, and education.
