Rental truck with big haul

An Arizona man is jailed after a Nebraska State Patrol trooper found more than 2,300 pounds of marijuana in the back of his rental truck in eastern Nebraska. Just before 10 a.m. Sunday, a trooper stopped the eastbound 2012 rental truck for failure to signal near the Bradshaw I-80 Interchange. The trooper was given consent to search the vehicle, leading to the seizure of 101 bundles of marijuana weighing a total of 2,395.5 pounds, Nebraska State Patrol Spokeswoman Deb Collins said. The driver, James C. Valimont, 56, of Glendale, Ariz., was lodged in the York County Jail on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, Collins said.

It all makes sense now. Gay marriage & marijuana being legalized on the same day. Leviticus 20:13- "If a man lays with another man he should be stoned."
We were just interpreting it wrong.

Also, how come we never hear of the stops by law enforcement where nothing is found? Oh, I know...that is not news & it does not further the cause of Law Enforcement. JMO. |

Once again the State Patrol and other law enforcement officials rush to judgment. Hopefully the courts will presume innocence until proven guilty. And I quote this article: "with intent to deliver, Collins said." Aren't these law enforcement officials overlooking the possibility that Mr. Valimont was going to roll one really...really large stupendous joint and smoke it himself? |
