• Gary’s Super Foods (1620 E. Fourth) – Box Out fundraiser event for the Connection Homeless Shelter and raise awareness of homelessness. Event lasts from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Lunch provided on Nov. 16-17 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Free will offering.

• Eagles Club - live music by the Gary Phipps Show. Starts at 8:30 p.m. Open to the public.

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.

Saturday, Nov. 17

• The Stage Dance Studio (608 N. Walnut) – Fall Frenzy Craft Fair. Breakfast, lunch and sweets available. 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

• Sutherland American Legion (130 S. Maple) – Watusi beef dinner fundraiser with both food and horns up for raffle. Proceeds to benefit the Sutherland, Paxton and Hershey volunteer fire departments. 6-10 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Lewis Brice. 9 p.m. Cover charge. Silent auction starts at 7 p.m. and 50 percent of the door will benefit the Gentry and Grasz families.

• North Platte Senior Center (900 E. Tenth) – the Golden Classics, a four-piece combo, plays a dance. 7-10 p.m. $3.


Thursday, Nov. 22

• Cody Park Concessions – 5K/1 mile family Turkey Trot. 7:30 a.m. Individual 5K is $20, family 1 mi. is $25. Proceeds to benefit St. Pat’s Athletic Association.


Friday, Nov. 23

• Quality Inn & Suites (2102 S. Jeffers) – 2012 Festival of Trees with decorations by local business on display. 6-8 p.m.
