Great Plains Regional Medical Center has appointed Mark Clark as chief information technology officer. Clark comes to North Platte from Ft. Collins, Colo. He will lead and direct the information systems for the hospital’s clinical and business operation. Clark has 23 years of IT experience "and proven ability to implement new initiatives,” said Krystal Claymore, Great Plains Regional Medical Center chief financial officer. “His collaborative leadership style and focus on high quality service will be instrumental in the continued growth of GPRMC.” Prior to joining GPRMC, Clark held executive leadership roles for Poudre Valley Health System in northern Colorado, most recently as site chief information officer. Clark led information management for Poudre Valley Hospital, Mountain Crest Behavioral Health and outlying outpatient centers in Fort Collins. he has also directed initiatives to expand IT operations, including implementing and coverting Electronic Medical Records. Clark has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He is a member of the College of Health Information Management Executives and the Health Information Management System Society.
