A traffic stop in Lancaster County Sunday led to the seizure of nearly 39 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of two men from Oregon. Just after noon Nov. 11, a trooper stopped an eastbound 2001 Ford pickup for following too close near exit 397 on Interstate-80. A drug detection dog alerted to (indicated) the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 38.9 pounds of marijuana from vacuum sealed bags in an external fuel tank in the pickup bed. The driver, Gregory T. Miller, 43, of Tualatin, Ore. and a passenger Britt J. Bones, 38, of Eagle Point, Ore. were lodged in the Lancaster County Corrections each on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
