For more than 10 years, Donna Girty-Cross provided a free Christmas dinner for the community. Even though she has moved from North Platte, the community dinner continues.

This year, the dinner will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, at Harvest Christian Fellowship’s North West campus, 2607 Rodeo Road.

A turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served from 2-6 p.m. Santa is due to arrive at 5 p.m. and there will be live musical entertainment throughout the afternoon. Everyone is invited to attend.

This dinner is possible through the donations and volunteer help from businesses and individuals in the community.
