Jordan and Steve Webb

Steve Webb and his mentee Jordan are the North Platte Teammates of November.

Webb and Jordan have been involved with TeamMates for more than two years.

Webb is retired. He likes to play some golf, read great books and serve as a youth mentor for his church. He is married and has a daughter who lives in North Platte. Teammate spokesman Jeremy Sedlacek said Steve is always one of the first mentors to sign-up to help TeamMates events throughout the year.

Jordan is an eighth grader at Adams Middle School who loves to ride his bike and play football with friends. His favorite subject is social studies and would like to be a mechanic after earning his college degree.

Webb said TeamMates allows him to be involved with youth and when he meets with Jordan they play a lot of games while talking about life in general.

Jordan said he enjoys Steve because he is funny and makes him laugh. Jordan believes they share a lot of common interests.
