The North Platte Community College volleyball team's season came to an end on Saturday with a five set loss to Central Community College in the finals of the Region IX tournament.

Central defeated the Lady Knights 19-25, 25-21, 25-22, 19-25, 15-13 to repeat as Region IX Division II champions.

NPCC will finish the season with a record of 20-18 and will graduate five sophomores in Whitney Smith, Ebonie Davis, Brooke Henry, Mersades Klein and Jaecee Barta.
