Friday, Oct. 26 • A-Z Books (507 N. Jeffers) – Local author Kayla Curry book signing and presentation of Obsidian with free drawing and refreshments. 5-7 p.m. • Masonic Temple (1600 W. B) – Purr-fect Pasta Dinner with Italian entrees made chefs from several local organizations. 5-7 p.m. Free will donation. • Depot Restaurant (520 N. Jeffers) – Live music by Gypsy Jazz band, Blue Swing. 7-9 p.m. • Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.
Saturday, Oct. 27 • Ace Hardware (235 E. Sixth) – Dutch oven contest. Guidelines available in store. • Neville Center for Performing Arts (Old Fox Theater downtown) – 7 p.m. Christian music concert by Francesca Battistelli, Sidewalk Prophets, Andy Cherry and City Harbor. Tickets $22 in advance, $25 day of show. Group tickets $18. VIP tickets $32, includes meeting and greet.
Sunday, Oct. 28 • VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – Live music by Ray Mullen. 7-10 p.m. Free will donation. • Neville Center – Utah Repertory Dance Theater, professional modern dance company to perform a dance tour through a hundred years of dance. 7:30-10 p.m. Memberships: adults $15, students $15, families $100.
Wednesday, Oct. 31 • Harvest Christian Fellowship church (NW campus, 2607 Rodeo Rd.) - Harvest party, 5-8 p.m. Games for the family, candy giveaway, special area for preschoolers. • Bethel Evangelical Free Church (2700 W. Philip) – Annual Family Fall Festival with games, food, and prizes. 5:30-7:30 p.m. Free event. • VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m. • North Platte Senior Center (900 E. Tenth) – the Golden Classics, a four-piece combo, plays a dance. 7-10 p.m. $3.

Fourth) – Fall book sale with baked goodies for sale. Bag sale in the evening.
