The Eustis-Farnam volleyball team defeated Maxwell Monday in three sets, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-20. Eustis-Farnam improved their record to 14-9. Maxwell coach Lori Mau said her team is playing smarter, but still making too many mental errors. "These girls have come a long way this year and I expect that we will keep fighting all the way. The girls did rally a lot more tonight." Mau said. Kayla Stenger had 17 assists, 5 digs and an ace serve for Maxwell (7-19). Teammates Anna Crane had 10 kills, 10 digs and 2 ace serves; Tracy Blake had 5 kills, 15 digs and 3 ace serves; and Naomi Schaub had 17 digs and an ace serve. "We are young and this time of the season there is a lot of pressure, and that is what we are working to get through as we get to sub-districts," Mau said. Maxwell faces high flying Bertrand (22-4) Tuesday in the final regular season game.
