The Sutherland Sailors volleyball team swept Hershey in three straight sets Saturday in an SPVA conference match. The Sailors won the first set, 25-21, took the second set in overtime, 27-25, and then claimed the win, 25-20. For Sutherland, Sam Kennedy had 20 kills, 2 blocks, 23 digs and 2 ace serves. Jalyne Schuster had 17 kills and 16 digs and a block. Kristen Nelson had 22 digs and 2 kills. Joli Hopping had 20 digs, 39 assists, an ace and a kill. Haley Baxter had an ace, 2 kills, a block and 5 digs. Earlier, Hershey (14-9), defeated Chase County in five sets, 24-26, 29-27, 21-25, 25-22 and 15-8.
