Eighty-nine people attended the 4S Goat Expo Oct. 4-5 at Lincoln County Fairgrounds in North Platte. The show champions were: • Grand Champion Buck -- Jim and Coleen Donaldson of Broadwater on DKDuckman7. The buck sold for $600 and was the second highest selling animal at the Expo. • Grand Champion Doe -- Jim and Coleen Donaldson of Broadwater on DKizzy26. The doe sold for $700 and was the highest selling animal at the Expo. • Reserve Grand Champion Buck -- Jim and Linette Corfield from Arnold on Red Hot Norisk. The buck sold for $580 and was the third highest selling animal in the sale. • Reserve Champion Doe -- Kristi Traffas from Kensington, Kan. on SLG552. The doe sold for $225. The average selling price for bucks was $357.14 on 7 lots and does was $199.69 on 32 lots.
