College volleyball team plans 'pink out' Tell North Platte what you think

The North Platte Community College Lady Knights volleyball team will go “passionately pink” to show their support of the fight against breast cancer during a Pink Out game against Eastern Wyoming College at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 in the South Campus gymnasium.

Pink Out games were created to help raise awareness about breast cancer and to educate young women about the disease. Those who attend are encouraged to wear pink to show support.

October is breast cancer awareness month.

Parents of the players will also be recognized during the game. For more information, contact Sally Thalken at (308) 535-3759.
