Donations will be accepted Friday until 11 a.m. for the 13th annual Community Clothing Exchange. Donations of good, useable and unwanted clothing can be dropped from 4-6 p.m. at Washington School, 600 West Third. Organizers will set out all clothing by size on different tables in the gym. All sizes of clothing are needed, all they ask is that they are recently cleaned. Fall/winter clothing is especially needed, but spring/summer clothing will be gladly appreciated as well. The exchange will held from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 13. Donations will also be accepted that day until 11 a.m. "If you are in need of clothing, we are asking that you please come and take what has been donated," organizer Anna Parks said. "You can leave clothing that your children have outgrown and get something that will fit now. Winter coats are always great items to exchange. All clothing left over at the end of the day will be donated to a community organization in need of the specific sizes and types of clothing that are left." To help, or volunteer, call Parks at 532-3995, Shae Caldwell at 539-6323 or Shelly Stiffler at 650-2028.
