The two-day summit is designed to connect and empower young Nebraskans, organizers say.

Keynote speaker Peter Shankman is an author, entrepreneur and worldwide connector who will share his innovative and nationally-recognized way of thinking about networking and how it applies to this group of young leaders.

The summit will kick off at 6 p.m. at the Golden Spike Tower on Thursday, Oct. 25 with a unique social that is designed for all fun-lovers.

Participants will be able to choose from several activities, such as joining in laser tag, navigating a corn maze, and kicking back around a fire pit while enjoying the company of other young Nebraskans.

The summit will continue the next day with coffee shop discussions, an excellent opportunity for networking, and professional, community and civic breakout sessions.

Topics will include “Understanding How the Affordable Healthcare Act Will Affect Me,” “Non-Biased Political Information We All Hunger For,” “Creative and Smart Ways to Invest in Your Future” and much more, organizers say.

CYN strives to enhance opportunities for young leaders to impact their communities through networking and learning experiences. The network is a dynamic and diverse group of peers with a passion for making a difference, a willingness to learn, and the desire to build important relationships to help shape the future of Nebraska.
