Hershey's offense was in high gear Friday as the Panthers rolled past Dundy County-Stratton, 49-16. Hershey scored 28 points in the first half and 21 in the third quarter. Gaige Marshall led Hershey's ground attack with 84 yards on six carries and two touchdowns. Chayton Crow rushed for 70 yards and Tyler Brown had 44 yards on 11 carries and one TD. Hershey quarterback Colton Marshall hit four passes in eight attempts, with 66 yards and two touchdown passes, one to Terence Whiting and another to Dylan Johnson. Defensively, Landan Maasen had seven tackles and a fumble recovery for the Panthers. Teammate Tyler Brown had five tackles. "Overall, it was a very nice win, and hopefully, a good start to our district play," Hershey Coach Ryan Smith said. Hershey is 3-3, but they have never lost by more than one score. They face 2-4 Cambridge next, and they will cap the season against rival North Platte St. Pat's (6-0).
